Former Northwest Missouri State wide receiver Shawn Bane, Jr. made his NFL debut in the annual Hall of Fame Game from Canton, Ohio Thursday night.

Suiting up for the Falcons, the rookie wideout flashed with three receptions for 39 yards on four targets, including a 14-yard catch in the red zone that set up Atlanta's first touchdown of the night.

Bane left Northwest as one of the best wide receivers to don the green and white. He finished his college career with the fourth most receiving yards (3,363), fifth most receiving touchdowns (31), sixth most receptions (212), and third best punt return average (11.9 yards) in program history. He also won two national championships as a Bearcat.

The Sarasota, Florida native signed with Atlanta as an undrafted free agent in April.

Bane's next preseason game will be August 15 as the Falcons host the New York Jets.
